Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Nadir Home (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Nadir Home is owned and operated by FixGrid ("FixGrid," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms are between you and FixGrid.

Nadir Home is a FixGrid product that provides AI-assisted home repair guidance and contractor quote review for homeowners. We help you understand problems, cost ranges, DIY vs pro tradeoffs, and whether a quote looks fair relative to typical market patterns.

We are not a contractor, marketplace, broker, or licensed inspector. We do not hire, dispatch, or endorse specific contractors. We do not take referral fees. No contractor pays for placement.

All outputs—including diagnoses, cost ranges, DIY guidance, quote verdicts (Fair / Overpriced / Walk Away), and negotiation scripts—are general guidance and market benchmarks only. They are not a substitute for a licensed professional assessment, engineering opinion, legal advice, or emergency services.

If you smell gas, suspect carbon monoxide, see sparking or smoke, have water near electrical equipment, or face any life-safety situation, leave the area if needed and contact emergency services or the appropriate utility / licensed professional immediately. Do not rely on the Service as an emergency response system.

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and use the Service only for lawful purposes related to properties you are authorized to work on or discuss.

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping login credentials secure. Provide accurate information. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service, attempt to bypass usage limits, or threaten system integrity.

• Free: limited diagnoses per calendar month (currently 3). Full quote scan reports are not included on Free.
• Pro: subscription billed via Stripe (monthly or annual). Includes higher diagnosis fair-use allowance and a monthly included scan allowance (see in-app pricing / upgrade page for current numbers).
• Pay-per-scan: one-time purchase of a quote review credit when you are not covered by Pro allowance.

Prices are shown at checkout and may change for future purchases. Subscriptions renew until canceled. Cancel or update payment methods via Manage subscription on the Upgrade page (Stripe Customer Portal), or by contacting support@fixgrid.app. Access continues through the paid period already purchased unless otherwise shown in the portal.

Taxes may apply depending on location and Stripe Tax settings. Failed payments may result in loss of Pro features after any grace handling we implement.

AI features incur real cost. We enforce server-side limits, including free-tier caps, Pro soft fair-use on diagnoses, included scan counts, and a per-diagnosis session cost ceiling. We may throttle, queue, or refuse additional AI calls that exceed fair use or threaten service stability. Attempting to circumvent gates is a Terms violation.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for fraud, harassment, or illegal activity.
• Upload malware or content you do not have the right to process.
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or resell the Service except as allowed by law.
• Misrepresent AI output as a licensed inspection or certified appraisal.
• Abuse rate limits, shared accounts to evade caps, or attack infrastructure.

Quote review language is framed as market comparison (e.g. above typical rates), not accusations of fraud or illegal conduct. You remain solely responsible for decisions about contractors, payments, and negotiations.

The Service, branding, and software are owned by Nadir Home or its licensors. You retain rights to content you upload. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content as needed to operate and improve the Service (including AI processing).

Subscription refunds are handled case-by-case. If a paid quote scan fails permanently due to a system error after payment and no usable report is delivered, contact support for a credit or refund. We do not refund solely because you disagree with a market verdict.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that outputs are accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific property.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FIXGRID (INCLUDING AS OPERATOR OF NADIR HOME) WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.

You will defend and indemnify FixGrid against claims arising from your misuse of the Service, your content, or your dealings with contractors and third parties, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for Terms violations, nonpayment, or risk to the Service. Provisions that by nature should survive (disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity) survive termination.

Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal data.

We may update these Terms. Continued use after the "Last updated" date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where local law requires additional consent.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction require otherwise. Venue for disputes will be state or federal courts located in Maryland, subject to applicable consumer venue rights.
